In January 2020, the remains of Quanyaves “Quan” Lindsay, 41, of Egg Harbor City, were discovered in a creek near Spring Garden Road in Maurice River Township, Cumberland County. Lindsay had been reported missing on November 24, 2019, after last being seen leaving a residence in Woodbine, Cape May County. At that time, he was driving his distinctive 2015 green Dodge Challenger “Hellcat” with New Jersey license plates C74LVU.
Subsequently, on February 10, 2020, New Jersey State Police recovered Lindsay’s vehicle from the Manumuskin River in Maurice River Township. The car was located by the Marine Services Bureau and the T.E.A.M.S. Unit trained in underwater search and recovery.
The circumstances surrounding Lindsay’s death remain under investigation. Authorities have not released further details regarding the cause of death. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact New Jersey State Police Detective Sergeant Robert Booth at 609-610-4025.
