Monmouth county man pleads day before trial in Atlantic City death

In January 2020, Matthew Piazza of Monmouth County pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter, a day before his trial was set to begin. Piazza was involved in the death of Thomas Walker, who passed away on November 15, 2014, two weeks after being knocked unconscious by Piazza.
