In January 2020, the body of Quanyaves “Quan” Lindsay, a 41-year-old resident of Egg Harbor City, was discovered in a creek near Spring Garden Road in Maurice River Township, Cumberland County. Lindsay had been reported missing since November 24, 2019, after last being seen leaving a residence in Woodbine, Cape May County. At the time of his disappearance, he was driving a distinctive green 2015 Dodge Challenger “Hellcat” with New Jersey license plates C74LVU.

Following the discovery of Lindsay’s remains, New Jersey State Police initiated efforts to locate his vehicle. On February 10, 2020, the vehicle was successfully recovered from the Manumuskin River by the State Police Marine Services Bureau and the T.E.A.M.S. Unit.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Lindsay’s death continues. Authorities have not released further details at this time.​
