Between 2014 and 2017, several women have come forward with allegations of sexual assault involving a former Stockton University student. The accused, identified as Zachary Madle, a 2015 graduate, is alleged to have used his affiliation with the now-unrecognized Pi Kappa Phi fraternity to exploit female students.​WHYY

Lawsuits filed by the victims detail incidents where they were allegedly assaulted after consuming beverages that were possibly tampered with. One such case involves a victim who claims to have been assaulted in her dormitory and later found explicit videos of the incident shared on social media platforms.​

In response to these allegations, Stockton University has stated that it is fully cooperating with law enforcement agencies. The university emphasizes its commitment to providing a secure environment for all students and has referred all related matters to the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office for further investigation.​
